The Operatives and Whomp present
CloZee
(FRA)

She sold it out last time without breaking a sweat. Now CloZee is coming back.

Toulouse-born producer Chloé Herry, who records and performs as CloZee, is returning to Melbourne's Northcote Theatre for what is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated electronic music events of the year, presented by two of the city's most trusted names in underground music: The Operatives and Whomp.

If you missed her last run here, you already know the feeling. The room sold out well in advance, and for good reason: CloZee doesn't just play a set, she builds a world. Her signature "World Bass" sound, a genre-bending fusion of global instrumentation, organic field recordings, and thundering low-end hits differently in a room this size. Northcote Theatre's intimacy and its famously tuned sound system turns her music into something more sensory than sonic.

This time, expect the full experience. CloZee's live shows pair her meticulous sound design with bespoke visuals and a lighting rig that reframes the room completely. From the meditative build to the floor-shaking drop, there's a reason fans follow her across cities and continents.

The Operatives, one of Melbourne's longest-running electronic music collective, have been doing this for over two decades. Their instinct for matching the right artist to the right room, the right crowd, the right moment, is revered in this city. And Whomp, Melbourne's dedicated bass music events company with a laser focus on IDM, glitch hop and electronica, are the perfect co-presenters for an artist who lives in those sonic intersections.

This is the show you missed last time. Don't make it two.
