This April, The Blues Kitchen Manchester welcomes Colin Stetson - the boundary-pushing saxophonist and composer.
Known for his innovative techniques, Colin Stetson transforms the saxophone into a full orchestra with circular breathing, multiphonics, and percussive key sounds. His latest solo album, The Love It Took to Leave You, creates dense, emotive soundscapes entirely in real time. Alongside his solo work, he has collaborated with Bon Iver, Arcade Fire, and Laurie Anderson, and composed scores for films including Hereditary and The Menu.
