Made up of two humans and a drum machine, Cowardboy is an electronic ensemble that mixes the slap-happy beats of 80s clubs with the lo-fi atmosphere of the western plains. Singer, songwriter, and multi instrumentalist Eli Nordstrom lays the textural framework with a plethora of guitar effects and searing vocals. Vocalist and drum machine technician Lauren Courville keeps the duo earthbound with her airy harmonies and pulsing beats. The band released their debut album Something Wickeds Always Been Here in the beginning of 2026 and are based in New Orleans. Accompanying them on the lineup is banjo-playing-storyteller, Roys Orb!
