Effigy presents
CONVERGE
plus special guests
Sanguisugabogg
Blackbraid
Pupil Slicer

For more than three decades, Converge have delivered musical and emotional catharsis, creating some of the most compelling music, lyrics and visual art of the 21st century. It seems unlikely that anyone who has been making music for this long would create two of their best works for their eleventh & twelfth albums, in their 35th year as a band no less. And yet ‘Love Is Not Enough’ and ‘Hum of The Hurt’ might be the apotheosis of Converge’s decades-long journey throughthe punk, hardcore and metal microcosm.

In what is already such a monumental year for the band, we are honoured to have them headline Electric Bristol this November, for their first ever stand-alone headline show in the city. Joining them is a jaw-dropping bill of some of modern metal’s freshest and most blistering sounds in death metallers, Sanguisugabogg, atmospheric black metal project, Blackbraid and British mathcore crew, Pupil Slicer.
