The day-time clubbing event started by Vicky McClure, Jonny Owen and Reverend & The Makers has swept the UK since it’s launch in 2024
‘The day-time disco that doesn’t ruin your Sunday’ has amassed a huge following with thousands of punters packing out clubs and theatres every weekend to dance the day away from. A whole generation who perhaps thought their clubbing days were behind them are blazing a trail for a new way to enjoy themselves.
Day Fever prides itself on creating a safe-space where people can just be themselves. No dress code, no egos, just enjoyment and positivity. This has seen a loyal fanbase leading to sold out shows in some of the countries most famous venues.
The music policy is simple, the greatest hits of the 20th century. Why can’t Madonna sit next to Madness? Pulp go back to back with Prince? The Stone Roses and The Rolling Stones?
90’s dance classics versus a spot of Motown? Why choose when you can enjoy it all?
Vicky McClure says ‘Travelling up and down the country and seeing so many people enjoying themselves has been such a joy, we’re just so happy that people feel comfortable at Day Fever and meeting and hearing everyone’s stories has made us realise how important it is for us all to take some time out of life and just have a bloody good dance!’

Tickets left for collection can be picked up on the door, on the day of the event, from when doors open. Please take the Ticketmaster reference number and the card used as payment with you.

Free on street parking can be found in the local area. Hawkwood Road main car park is long stay, use postcode BH5 1BY for sat nav. It has two disabled parking bays and is around 300 metres away. At weekends, the Sovereign Centre car park is just next door and is open until midnight on Friday and Saturday, charges apply.

After purchasing your ticker please contact the venue direct on 01202 399922 or email info@o2academybournemouth.co.uk with their booking number to discuss arrangements. You can also contact the box office through text relay by 18002 01202 399922 should this be required. Once you have been in contact with the venue you will be sent an email confirmation that should be printed off and brought with you when you attend the event. Spaces may be limited and will be sold on a first come first served basis.

Non-professional camers are fine (no large lenses), no re-admission, no food and drink and no smoking.

Gigs: The minimum age is 8 unless with written permission from venue management. Under 14s must be accompanied by an adult. Under 18s events are 13 to 17yrs only Clubs: Strictly over 18s (Photographic ID will be required)
