DJ Seinfeld Presents 'If This Is It' LIVE
DJ Seinfeld (Armand Jakobsson) has become one of the most versatile and respected musicians in electronic music today. Rising to prominence in 2016 as part of the lo-fi house scene alongside producers including Ross FromFriends and Mall Grab, the Malmo, Sweden-born producer and DJ released his debut album ‘Time Spent away From U’ in 2017. The record received plaudits from Rolling Stone and Pitchfork, as well as praise from Flume, Flying Lotus and Bonobo.
His acclaimed second album ‘Mirrors’, released in 2021 on Ninja Tune, saw him hone a melancholic yet optimistic sound that took elements of the deliberately sepia-tinged lo-fi aesthetic of his early work and brought the sonics firmly into focus. Not only did it draw strong reviews and see Seinfeld front the digital cover of Mixmag, it also led the lo-fi house pioneer to play everywhere from Coachella to DC10.After taking his Mirrors live show to The Warehouse Project and Printworks, ‘MIRRORS (REMIXED)’ dropped in 2023, breathing fresh life into the original record thanks to reworks by a hand-selected group of artists he admired, including LSDXOXO, salute and Kiimi. He also debuted in the Mixmag Lab London, contributed a mix to The Lot Radio in New York, and gained a monthly residency at CircoLoco in Ibiza.
One of Seinfeld's biggest commercial successes arrived in 2024 with ‘Now U Do’, his infectious Confidence Man collaboration that became a huge crossover hit and is now certified Silver in the UK. 2024 also saw several singles (‘Hopecore’, ‘If U Like Me’), while 2025 brought a number of collaborations (‘Are You In?’ with sogumm, ‘the one’ with ATRIP, ‘Please Be Mine’ with Kungs) and remixes for the likes of K-Pop group Hearts2Hearts.
Seinfeld kicked off 2026 with fan-favourite ‘Plush’, marking an early preview of his third studio album ‘If This Is It’, out this summer on Ninja Tune. The club-ready single arrived after nearly two years of being played around the world in Seinfeld’s lauded DJ sets, prompting fans to hunt for it online and making it one of the most requested track IDs from his 2023 Mixmag Lab.
