DJ Yoda steps back into the 90s with brand-new AV show, 90s Mixtape Live - an audiovisual celebration of the decade that shaped modern music, film and pop culture.
From hip hop and pop to cult TV and blockbuster cinema, the show flips everything to include the likes of Britney Spears, Blur and Notorious B.I.G., all playing alongside some of the most iconic big-screen moments from favourites of the era such as Jurassic Park, Forrest Gump and Seinfeld. DJ Yoda stitches together sound and vision live on stage, transforming instantly recognisable moments and forgotten gems into fast-cut sequences.
The result is an immersive experience packed with big nostalgia, bold visuals and a party atmosphere from start to finish.

DJ Yoda is a world-class turntablist, music producer, and trailblazing video artist. Over three triumphant decades in the game, he’s dazzled audiences around the globe and shared big stages with giants from Snoop Dogg to Damon Albarn, Diplo to Dame Evelyn Glennie.
Described by Q Magazine as “One of the 10 DJs to see before you die”, DJ Yoda channels his Star Wars namesake by remaining one of the only DJs who stays true to hip-hop’s founding creed. Set apart from his contemporaries by remixing short snatches of existing media in fresh and interesting ways – DJ Yoda has expanded his beloved genre’s creative palette beyond all recognition.
From his his historic How To Cut & Paste mix series which first showed the world his vivid imagination and sheer technical brilliance, to his landmark shows remixing movies, TV shows, viral internet videos and classic computer games, DJ Yoda’s work consistently underscores his wit, originality and ambition.
A relentless innovator, Yoda’s spellbinding mastery of scratching, sampling and remixing continues to drive the art of hip-hop into thrilling new realms. Aside from ripping up dance floors on every continent, DJ Yoda has performed at the hallowed British Library, written an avant garde ‘turntable concerto’ with Gabriel Prokofiev, and pioneered the art of live video mixing.
2023 highlights for DJ Yoda included a mesmerising performance for 10,000 fans at a Transylvanian castle mixing TikTok videos with hip-hop beats on the fly; a packed out stage at Glastonbury Festival; and a run at the Edinburgh Festival with his Tarantino AV Show. Always on top of the cultural zeitgeist, his recent Stranger Things Mixtape went viral, racing to over a million plays online and prompting a sell-out tour.
Well respected as a producer, DJ Yoda has cut original tracks with the likes of Boy George, Action Bronson, Jamie Cullum and Hollywood A-lister Lily James. Revered industry-wide for his singular vision and shrewd crowd-pleasing instincts, DJ Yoda has been tapped up for bespoke mixes by everybody from Dr. Dre to Mark Ronson, Banksy to BBC Radio 4.
In 2024 DJ Yoda releases an old-school hip-hop project ‘Hometown Heroes’ with The Nextmen and Boston rapper Ed OG, and tours both his 50 Years of Hip-Hop AV show, and a unique immersive 360° AV dome show - a project he’d love to take to the Vegas Sphere…
