Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion's 40th anniversary season opens with a world premiere by Grammy®-nominated composer Adam Schoenberg, performed by internationally acclaimed pianists Glen Inanga and Rebeca Omordia alongside the Amernet String Quartet and guest bassist Paola Garcia. The program also celebrates the rich legacy of Black classical composers. Four decades. One unforgettable night. Inanga is a is a 1999 laureate of the Dranoff International Two Piano Competition and a highly acclaimed international concert pianist. Omordia is an award-winning classical pianist recognized worldwide for her pioneering work in African classical music. Schoenberg is a Grammy®-nominated and Emmy Award-winning composer known for his versatility in both orchestral and film scoring and is among the top 10 most performed living composers by orchestras in the U.S. The Amernet is a highly acclaimed ensemble known for its technical mastery and international performances, serving as Ensemble-in-Residence at FIU.
