Emerging from Clevelands vibrant music scene, E.C.M.G. is a dynamic jazz project formed by five up-and-c0ming young musicians studying at Case Western Reserve University and Cleveland State University.Grounded in a deep appreciation for the swing tradition while reflected by the evolving landscape of contemporary jazz, the group draws inspiration from jazz giants as well as the citys local heroes.Through collective interplay and spontaneous improvisation, E.C.M.G. is committed to cultivating an bold yet honest sound through individual music expression.
