The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay Heather Mitchell, artistic director Mahler: Adagio from Symphony No. 10 Beethoven: Symphony No. 9 (Mahler arr.) In a centerpiece concert of the season, Michael Francis will conduct the powerful Mahler arrangement of Beethoven?s Symphony No. 9 for an awe-inspiring Ode to Joy, featuring The Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. The concert opens with the hauntingly beautiful Adagio from Mahler?s unfinished Symphony No. 10, a deeply emotional piece that showcases the composer?s late, poignant genius.
