Father Mike Schmitz is the director of Youth and Young Adult Ministry for the Diocese of Duluth as well as the Chaplain for the Newman Center at the University of Minnesota?Duluth. Through his digital ministry, he has preached to millions of people around the world, and is best known for his chart-topping podcasts The Bible in a Year and The Catechism in a Year, produced by Ascension. Father Mike offers weekly Sunday homilies on YouTube and all major podcast apps, as well as on the Ascension App, Hallow, and bulldogCatholic.org. He also releases short video messages on the Ascension Presents YouTube channel to help viewers grow in their relationship with Jesus and understanding of the Catholic Church.
