The Grace Fox Big Band is a 16-piece, multigenerational, multiethnic group ushering in the next era of women in jazz. Band leader and trumpet player Grace Fox sourced the players for the band predominantly through social media during the summer of 2021. The group is composed of female musicians from different stages of life and from all across the country, with ages ranging from 17-30. Their debut album Eleven O Seven can be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Youtube, and Pandora. The Grace Fox Big Band charges its way through potent original compositions and stunning musical interchange as a powerful, cohesive unit.
