Guests entering CareFirst Arena are limited to a wallet or purse no larger than 5 inches x 7 inches. Absolutely NO BACKPACKS. Clear, medical or diaper bags (child must be present) cannot be larger than 14 inches x 14 inches x 6 inches. All bags, including clear, medical or diaper/parenting bags, are subject to security screening. Storage lockers of various sizes are available outside the arena on Oak Street on a first-come, first-served basis.
Events DC presents The Battle for the Real HU. The historic rivalry between the Howard University Bison and Hampton University Pirates returns to the hardwood for an epic basketball doubleheader on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Tickets grant you access to the womens game tipping at 12:00 PM and the mens game following at 3:00 PM. Doors open at 11:00am
