Sharing the Stage is a performance and mentorship project that brings together professional musicians with high school students to perform all-ages shows in a club setting. Since 2010, students have been writing their own music and sharing the stage as opening acts for headliner bands such as Visqueen, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Chastity Belt, The Black Tones, King Youngblood, and many more. Thirty-eight shows and counting...come check out the amazing creativity and energy at our shows! Every year we produce a , "rdquo" -> Home for the Holidays" show that is just for show alumni--no headliner band because all the alums share the stage as headliners! They were openers as high school students and now they're out in the world making music and putting out releases! In the lineup so far--The Kingfisher Trio, Wyatt Bates, Small Change, Basement Tuesdays, Nat Rezek, and Graham Hazzard. More to come!
