Created by Berlin-based studio flora&faunavisions in partnership with ILA, TIMELIGHT “Beyond our ticking world” is an immersive and interactive live experience. Discover the magic of bringing a digital screen to life at the touch of your fingertips, in an experience that is big, bold and imaginative.

TIMELIGHT invites those of all ages and from all walks of life to pause and reimagine your relationship with time. As the world accelerates and time feels like a currency we cannot hold onto, TIMELIGHT “Beyond our ticking world” reveals how it bends, stretches, and transforms all around us.  

Journey through three chapters exploring time as a universal force, a human-made structure, and a presence in nature. Glowing spheres and streaming light trails beckon you into a realm where time bends and stretches. Step into a giant time-machine as the mechanical rhythms, pulsing lights and ticking gears of clocks create a vivid world within a playful, high-energy interactive game. As the journey comes to an end, your environment transforms over time and as trees grow, shadows shift and humanity ages. 

Hear thought-provoking interviews with experts, children, and even monks sharing what time means to them. Add your own definition of time to a growing collective artwork and see how others perceive it too. Bring your friends or your family and embark on a sensory journey which shows that time isn’t just something we measure, but something we can feel and enjoy together.

Relaxed sessions
Relaxed sessions will take place on set dates during the season which will include a reduced capacity, lowered volume and permitted re-entry during the session. Tickets for relaxed sessions are available on

Fridays at 9:30am 
Saturdays at 9:30am

School groups 
Sessions for school groups are available from Tuesday to Friday, 21 October to 12 December. School group bookings can be registered via this link.
