In Flames formed in 1990 in Gothenburg, Sweden, and to this day remain one of the most fierce forces in melodic death metal. They have toured the globe alongside heavyweights like Judas Priest, Mötley Crüe, Motörhead, Megadeth, and Slipknot. Melodic, soaring guitars and crushing riffs---now synonymous with the In Flames sound---first fully crystallized on their sophomore album The Jester Race (1996). Metal Hammer magazine later dubbed their melodeath masterpiece Colony (1999) "an undisputed fireball of an album." Metal Hammer retroactively named it one of the Top 15 "Best Metal Albums of the Century." The single "Betrayer" from The Sin and The Sentence (2017) earned them a Grammy nomination for "Best Metal Performance." This show marks a swift return to the Czech Republic for Trivium, following their explosive set at Rock for People 2026, while In Flames last performed in the country at Rock for People 2025.
