Born in Metro Detroit to two artists, there was no shortage of encouragement for him to pursue music. Inspired by the likes of Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and Arthur Russell, Saunders strives to make waves in his new home of Chicago with debut album Two Geese.Two Geese aims to highlight the dichotomy between nature and nurture. Using consistent themes of his physical environment and childhood memories, this project encourages vulnerability by beautifying the highs and lows of the human experience. In exercising the art of storytelling, Saunders hopes to make deeper connections within his community through intimate and exciting live performances.
