Born in England to an American military family, Katt Holiday brings a wealth of influences to the stage as varied as the places they have lived.Performing since they were 14, Katt has shared the stage with indie legends like Gogol Bordello, Dex Romweber, Reverend Peyton, Jason Ringenberg, and Joe Buck - and toured with multiple bands playing various styles - from bluegrass, Zydeco, and rockabilly to experimental electronic and psych-rock.But starting with the release of their first proper full-length solo album, (the alt-folk tinged DESIREPATH - released by El Gran E Records in 2024) Katt Holidays solo, bare-bones configuration displays a musical style that bridges the gaps between folk, blues, and the lay it all out there attitude of punk rock - tied together with biting social commentary and a sardonic sense of humor.Basically - with a unique voice, a Gretsch guitar, and (sometimes) a kick drum installed in an old suitcase - Katt Holiday is out uf just as olen beautiful torr piece in an absurd, often dark, but just as often beautiful world.
