US pop-punk breakout KNOX announces debut Australian tour
Heading to our shores in March 2027 off the back of new album My Midwest Best
Nashville-via-Ohio artist KNOX will make his first trip to Australian shores in March 2027, bringing the pop-punk sounds of his forthcoming sophomore album My Midwest Best to Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
The singer-songwriter broke onto the scene with 2022 single "Sneakers" which surpassed 49 million Spotify streams, with follow-up "Not The 1975" hitting over 63 million streams and his 2025 debut LP Going, Going, Gone drawing global critical acclaim. KNOX has performed at Lollapalooza and Hangout Fest, collaborated with Bilmuri and HARDY and earned co-signs from Ed Sheeran and Matt Healy. His live shows are consistently praised for having a palpable stage presence, electric energy and a genuine connection with his audiences.
Raised in New Carlisle, Ohio, KNOX grew up on a diet of Fall Out Boy, All-American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Panic! At The Disco and Hawthorne Heights before relocating to Nashville in 2019 to build a career as a songwriter. My Midwest Best sees KNOX return to his roots, both sonically and personally. The album's 12 tracks channel that early-2000s pop-punk and emo influence into what he describes as material built for the stage.
"My Midwest Best is my proudest work to date," says Knox. "It's the culmination of all the music I grew up listening to and all the music I learned how to make along the way. A representation of where I'm from and what it sounded like growing up in the middle of nowhere, Ohio."
Due for release on Friday 2 October, My Midwest Best uncorks a burst of Warped Tour-appropriate energy tailormade for soundtracking a montage from your favourite teen comedy, the best date you’ve ever been on, or a festival set at sundown.
Absorb it all in Australia for the first time in March 2027.
