Swedish folk'appella group Kongero will perform at Stephens Auditorium on Friday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m., with a special collaboration featuring the ISU treble choir, Cantamus. Formed in 2005, Kongero's four vocalists, Lotta Andersson, Emma Björling, Sofia Hultqvist Kott and Anna Wikénius, are known for their tight harmonies and modern take on traditional Swedish folk music. Their repertoire blends traditional and original songs, from love ballads to lively dances, all delivered in their signature polyphonic style.
