Darkwave and post punk luminaries Lebanon Hanover are Swiss–British duo Larissa Iceglass and William Maybelline. They have spent the past decade plus shaping the sound and aesthetic of modern goth culture, becoming one of the most influential and adored acts in the global underground.
Described as "the most stylishly miserable band on earth", Lebanon Hanover’s music remains a stark, elegant antidote to a world in a constant rush. Their haunting soundscapes, icy atmospheres, and emotionally unfiltered lyricism have earned them a devoted and passionatefollowing.
“It was the purpose of Lebanon Hanover to create minimal sombre music like in the early ’80s” Iceglass says, “It suits our dark age more than any happy plastic high-pitched pop”
