Los Llaneros brings the rhythmic music of the Colombian and Venezuelan plains to the stage, featuring harp, cuatro, maracas, vocals and more. Founded in 1978 and led by vocalist Karin Stein, the ensemble performs as a trio or quartet, showcasing the talents of Edgar East, Daniel Rojas, René Devia, and Diego Mosquera. With roots in both Indigenous and Spanish traditions, their style features fast-paced rhythms and intricate techniques rarely heard outside the region. Los Llaneros delivers a performance that honors the rich culture, history and spirit of the Llanos.
