M.A.D Society Presents: A Series of Unfortunate Events

A new play by the M.A.D. Society - the preposterous people who brought you Peter Panto and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It’s a Panto - or more accurately, a Panto’s late-father’s cousin’s wife’s brother’s ex girlfriend. There will be music. There will be intrigue. There will be dubious characters (and some kindly ones) flaunting many disguises. There will be death, singing orphans, a mysterious fire and also a circus. 

If you are hoping to see a play about a plucky young chocolate enthusiast or a swashbuckling pirate, you’d be better off buying tickets to a different show. I’m sorry to say there is nothing to be found here but mystery, woe, and a gormless chap called Mr. Poe. This is not a series of heartwarming events - It is a Series of Unfortunate Events. My name is Lemony Snicket and it’s my very solemn duty to bring to light the sorry histories of the Baudelaire Children. 

Show Times: 
6:30 PM – Thurs–Saturday
2:00 PM – Sunday Matinee
(Doors open 30 minutes prior)

Run Time: Approx. 2.5–3 hours, inclusive of interval
No entry before doors (6pm Thurs–Sat, 1:30pm Sun)

All parking at the Canteen carpark please. Some strobing lights in use throughout performance.
