Basé au Texas, il s’est imposé comme une figure majeure de la scène instrumentale contemporaine.Membre du collectif Snarky Puppy depuis 2008, il participe à plusieurs albums primés aux Grammy Awards, dont Empire Central (2023) et Live at the Royal Albert Hall (2020). Il est également cofondateur du groupe funk instrumental The Fearless Flyers.En solo, Lettieri développe un univers mêlant jazz, funk, rock et soul, porté par un jeu de guitare virtuose et un sens aigu du groove. Son dernier album Can I Tell You Something? (2024) illustre une évolution vers des compositions plus mélodiques et personnelles.Musicien de session très recherché, il a collaboré avec des artistes tels que Erykah Badu, 50 Cent ou encore Kirk Franklin.
