The PERTH BLUES CLUB presents
Martin Harley + Diamond Dave & the Doodaddies

Acclaimed British slide guitarist heads 'down under' to Australia for a run of headline shows and festival appearances this January.
Following a triumphant run of international shows across the USA, Spain, Portugal, and Ireland — and with a major UK tour this winter and Netherlands dates already confirmed for March — acclaimed British roots musician Martin Harley has announced a full Australian tour for January 2026.
Speaking about the much anticipated Australian tour, Harley shares:
“Since travelling around Australia behind the wheel of my 1977 Holden Kingswood Station Wagon back in 2000, the country has held a very special place in my heart. It was whilst living in my car that I wrote the songs for my first record. I was moving from town to town, learning my trade, playing on the streets and in bars. I taught myself to play slide guitar across my lap. I surfed badly and laughed a lot. For a year or so I was weightless. It’s been some 20 years since I’ve been back. I can’t wait!”
Known worldwide for his spellbinding slide guitar work and soulful blend of blues, Americana and folk, Harley will bring his captivating live performance to audiences across Australia with a series of intimate headline shows and festival appearances.
Renowned for his emotional songwriting and masterful musicianship, Harley has earned praise from The Guardian for his “spellbinding” performances and from Guitarist Magazine as “one of the finest in contemporary roots music.” His latest album Morning Sun, produced by Nigel Stonier, features collaborators including Michael Blair (Tom Waits, Elvis Costello) and CJ Hillman (pedal steel), further cementing his reputation as a singular voice in modern roots and blues.
With recent appearances at Glastonbury, BottleRock, and the Royal Albert Hall, Harley’s 2026 Australia tour promises an unforgettable series of performances — blending technical brilliance, heartfelt storytelling, and the kind of authenticity that has made him one of the UK’s most respected touring artists.

The Doodaddies are an Australian blues band offering a true-to-roots sound with every performance. Decades of shows have honed a setlist of laid-back grooves, swinging shuffles, and tear-soaked tunes. Fronted by the wailing harmonica of Diamond Dave and the red-hot guitar of Dave Brewer, they’re powered by one of the bluesiest duos around—drummer Yugon Chobanoff and bassist John Wilson. From hometown gigs to international festivals, their electric shows have landed them onstage with legends like Buddy Guy and Charlie Musselwhite. Their three albums— streaming now—continue to grow their reach as they showcase the blues’ remarkable depth and variety.
