Based in Portland, OR, the award-winning artist has released 13 recordings; her Bywater Dance(Yellow Dog) was recorded right here in the Crescent City with native sons Henry Butler and Jon Cleary. With her love and devotion to the blues, Marys music is a vibrant contribution to this American art form. ROBERT EUSTISOpener Singer-songwriter/guitarist Robert Eustis is a New Orleans native whose sound is warm as the Big Easy. A grizzled troubadour voice...and quite a few good stories, says OffBeat. His first album Flyin High was produced by Spencer Bohren; Spencers son Andr produced the second album The Tipping Point (nominated foran OffBeat Best of the Beat) and will join Robert in this return-to-Chickie opening performance.
