Maxi Priest & David Rodigan headline Manchester Cathedral for Echoes
Manchester, UK – On Thursday 27th November, Echoes welcomes a truly special night of rhythm and roots as reggae legend Maxi Priest and iconic DJ David Rodigan unite at Manchester Cathedral for a genre-defining celebration of British-Caribbean music and culture.
Expect smooth vocals, deep dub grooves, and a masterclass in sound system heritage as two titans of reggae bring an unforgettable blend of live performance and high-energy DJing to one of the city's most historic venues.
Maxi Priest, known for hits like “Close to You,” “Wild World,” and “Housecall,” will deliver his globally beloved fusion of reggae, R&B, and lovers rock. He’ll be joined by David Rodigan — the voice of reggae on UK airwaves for decades — whose encyclopedic knowledge, magnetic energy, and deep crates have made him a legend in his own right.
Part of the Echoes concert series, this evening will celebrate the power of music to uplift, connect, and resonate across generations — all in the extraordinary acoustics of Manchester Cathedral.
