Mosbrook & FreemanCharlie Mosbrook and Mark Freeman bring their storytelling and songwriting magic to the Tree Lawn Social Club. Charlie recently received (2025) the Lantern Bearer Award, an annual honor from the Folk Alliance Region Midwest (FARM) that recognizes individuals, groups or organizations for significant contributions to folk music, activism, community building and cultural inclusion. This year, Mark released his fourth album called Mes Amis. The 12 songs on this album feature a host and virtual whos who list of musicians. This community performance at the Treelawn is in partnership with the Ohio Arts Council Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program. For the past three years, Charlie and Mark have been furthering their knowledge of acoustic blues under the direction of Kevin T. Richards, who is recognized as a Master Artist by the Ohio Arts Council. As they work with Kevin, they are discovering the intricacies of country and piedmont blues.Please join Charlie, Mark (and Kevin) for a night of incredible folk music at the Treelawn Social Club. .
