New Long RoadCalifornia Dreamin: A 1966 Folk-Rock Show by New Long RoadNew Long Road is a unique Cleveland-based band, a folk-rock-jazz-classical group, consisting of five music-business veterans combining their talents: David Budin (vocals and guitar), Celia Hollander Lewis (vocals, Celtic harp, 12-string guitar, autoharp and banjo), Robin Stratton (vocals and ukulele), Jeffrey Singler (cello) and Sara Lambert (flute). The group performs songs youve never heard, including originals, and songs you havent heard in a long time all in ways youve never heard them done with David Budin providing humor and music history between songs. And for this performance, California Dreamin: A 1966 Folk-Rock Show by New Long Road, theyll perform their distinctive versions of some of the greatest songs of the original folk-rock era, along with the often-surprising behind-the-scenes stores of the songs and artists who wrote and recorded them. New Long Road members have performed onstage with, or opened for, an array of world-famous performers David, Robin and Celia with artists including Linda Ronstadt, Graham Nash, Peter Yarrow, Jeff Beck, Jefferson Starship, Poco, Flying Burrito Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, and others. And Jeffrey and Sara play or have played with the Youngstown Symphony, Warren Philharmonic, Ashland Symphony, Columbus Symphony, Erie Philharmonic, Akron Symphony, West Virginia Symphony, Cleveland Chamber Collective, Lake Effect Piano Trio, Obsidian String Quartet, Prism Jazz ensemble, and the Erie Waters flute ensemble.
