Returning from a sold-out Plaza Theatre debut earlier this month, the New York Philharmonic String Quartet brings extraordinary artistry and precision to the chamber music stage. Formed during the orchestra?s 175th anniversary season, the ensemble made its debut in 2017 and has since performed to critical acclaim in premier venues across the globe. The quartet features Concertmaster Frank Huang, Principal Second Violin Qianqian Li, Principal Viola Cynthia Phelps, and Principal Cello Carter Brey?each an accomplished soloist and chamber musician. Together, they offer a dynamic and deeply expressive interpretation of both classical masterworks and contemporary repertoire. Their performances are celebrated for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. Audiences can expect an evening of exceptional musicianship from four of the finest artists in the field.
