Think Shane McGowan in a writing room with Dolores O’Riordan, Chris Martin and Alex Turner.McNamee’s songwriting highlights his storytelling, while his charismatic live performances are rapidly growing his reputation with audiences. 2024 saw sold-out headline shows in London (twice), Bury, Bristol, Glasgow, Birmingham and Dublin plus supports for The WolfeTones in Finsbury Park and Louis Dunford. A perfect introduction to this rising London-based artist, ‘Clapham Wine’ (Feb 2025, the first single from the forthcoming debut album) showcases a whole lot of indie attitude, mixed with a little bit of Irish trad, delivered with huge energy and charm.
