Nightcap is a Thursday evening lecture series at Three Top Lounge featuring engaging talks and conversations with experts across disciplines. Presented in partnership with Chicago Humanities, Sexpectations, the Gray Center at the University of Chicago, and the MCA, each 40-minute session begins at 7pm and pairs thoughtful ideas with a well-made Three Top Lounge drinkFor our fourth and final installation of the Nightcap Lecture Series, were teaming up with Crying at The Shed to bring together music supervisors Jessica Berndt (Secretly Group) and Melissa Chapman (Groove Garden) for an intimate conversation about the role music plays in shaping film and television. Pulling from their work across independent cinema, documentaries, and major releases, theyll discuss creative and practical sides of the business and how songs find their way into the stories we love.
