PJ Morton is a soul singer, songwriter, performer and producer based in New Orleans. He is a 6x GRAMMY-winner and 22x GRAMMY nominee who has earned numerous nominations for BET, Soul Train and NAACP Image Awards, in addition to selling out countless shows at historic venues like the Apollo Theater, Kennedy Center and others around the world. On top of running his own record label (Morton Records) and serving as Maroon 5's full-time keyboardist for the past 12+ years, he has collaborated with Stevie Wonder, Erykah Badu, Jon Batiste, Nas, Lil Wayne, JoJo, Yebba, Jill Scott and many others.
In 2024, PJ Morton became the first Black composer to ever write an original song for a Disney attraction - Tiana's Bayou Adventure, at Disneyland and Disney World. He also released an album, Cape Town to Cairo, entirely written, recorded and produced during a 30-day trip across Africa, and published a new book titled Saturday Night, Sunday Morning via Worthy Publishing, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, the memoir sees him recounting and reflecting upon a trailblazing path that continues to defy expectations and straddle the tensions of music and faith, race and culture, expression and identity.

There are single yellow lines located around KOKO on Crowdale Road and Bayham Street. Disabled Badge holders can park here. There is ramp access into the venue via the doors on the left-hand side as you look at the building. The ramps are removable and put in place immediately by security when eeded. Disabled people are offered priority entry. The disabled area is located underneath the Royal Box on the Balcony level. Once inside there are no steps and there is easy access to the disabled area. There are great site lines to the stage. The accessible toilet is located next to the disabled area. An induction loop is fitted. Blind customers are more than welcome to use the disabled area if they would like to. Deaf or hard of hearing customers are more than welcome to stand at the front of the gig and security are aware of this. Please contact the venue for more information.
