The picturesque township of Port Fairy comes alive each year over the long weekend in March, with the greatest folk, rhythm and roots musicians from around the globe coming together in a huge celebration of music, community and culture.
From its humble beginnings in 1977, Port Fairy Folk Festival has become of Australia’s largest and most loved music festival by the mighty Southern Ocean. Featuring a huge multi-venue main arena complete with four stages as well as a vibrant program of events across the site which includes themed concerts, showcases, roving performances, family friendly entertainment, excellent food and drinks and handmade craft stalls, there’s something for everyone.
Immerse yourself in historic Port Fairy over the weekend with free entertainment throughout the township, markets, music programs and fantastic restaurants and tiny bars.
