About Rachelle Coba (USA)
Rachelle Coba is an American Blues Award–winning, Grammy-considered guitarist, singer and songwriter who has been touring Europe since 2019. Praised by Matt “Guitar” Murphy for playing “the hell out of the guitar,” and hailed by Blues Blast Magazine publisher Bob Kieser as a standout performer whose Blues Blast Awards set silenced the room, Coba delivers a powerful, emotionally honest blend of blues infused with soul, country, and uptown grit. Her critically acclaimed debut solo CD and her dynamic new trio have helped her build steadily growing audiences in the U.S. and abroad, following her return to South Florida from Wichita, Kansas.
Her fiery style has led to collaborations and tours with notable artists including Super Chikan, Albert Castiglia, Grady Champion, Ray Drew, Johnny Winter and Coco Montoya, with performances at iconic venues and festivals such as Buddy Guy’s Legends, B.B. King’s NYC, the Chicago Blues Festival, King Biscuit, Juke Joint, and Riverwalk.
Coba has toured extensively across Australia, the Midwest, and the Mississippi Delta, appeared on the Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise, and was featured in the Blessissippi Blues film. She has opened for and jammed with a wide range of blues greats, earning consistent critical praise for her expressive guitar work and sweet-and-sassy vocals that channel deep blues authenticity.
Nico Wayne Toussiant (France)
Nico Wayne Toussaint is recognized as one of the top harmonica players and blues singers of his generation, widely acclaimed across Europe and North America. A professional since 1998, he has recorded 14 albums—12 released on the Dixiefrog label—and built a reputation for high-energy, joy-filled performances rooted in the tradition of American blues clubs he has frequented since age 19. His dynamic stage presence blends charisma, emotional depth, and virtuosic harmonica, supported by a tight, powerful band, and his extensive touring has taken him across Europe, North America, Africa, the Middle East, and South America.
Equally at home in intimate duo settings, classic Chicago-style quartets or quintets, or a full Big Band format, Nico brings a versatile blues sound infused with funk and soul, including a 2017 tribute to James Cotton. His career has been shaped by deep collaborations with American blues artists such as James Cotton, Billy Branch, Luther Allison, Rod Piazza, and Guy Davis, among many others.
In April 2026, Nico will join Rachelle Coba for a Western Australia tour, backed by top Perth musicians. Following Rachelle’s successful 2016 Australian visit and a recent run of Florida shows together, the duo promises an electrifying return to local stages.
Don't miss it!
