Curated by Sukanya and Anoushka Shankar the Ravi Shankar Ensemble is a multi generational collective dedicated to the enduring legacy of the legendary musician Ravi Shankar. In their debut tour the ensemble performs with visual elements from the Ravi Shankar archives alongside a dynamic selection of Shankars soul stirring music. The Ensemble includes Shubhendra Rao on sitar Aayush Mohan on sarod Ravichandra Kulu on flute Padma Shankar on violin Anubrata Chatterjee on tabla and BC Manjunath on Mridamgam, Ravi Shankar had an indelible imprint on global music history and culture. A virtuosic Indian composer known for his mastery of the sitar Shankar was a leading Hindustani musician reshaping the centuries old form and introducing Western audiences to the classical tradition of Indian ragas. He popularized Indian classical music globally through teaching performances and collaborations with Western musicians like Yehudi Menuhin Philip Glass and George Harrison.

Pick up tickets the night of the show. Customers must present the actual credit card used to place the order and a photo ID. Doors open to ticket holders for seating typically a half hour before showtime.

The theatre is wheelchair accessible. There is a special section available for wheelchairs in the Orchestra Left section behind Row S.
