Right in the Eye is a multimedia performance featuring 12 films by Georges Melies, the pioneering filmmaker and early master of cinematic special effects. Performed live, three virtuoso musicians play more than 50 instruments, including several rare and unusual ones, adding a new musical dimension to Melies' classic films. Presented in a setting that complements the imagery on screen, the performance blends live music and film to highlight Melies' imagination and innovation, bringing new life to some of cinema's earliest visual masterpieces.
