All concert ticket sales are final and non-refundable. All patrons must have valid government-issued Photo ID available upon entry. All teenage patrons must be ticketed like adults, and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while inside the jazz club. All patrons must be aged 13 or older. Violation of this policy while inside the venue may result in removal from the club without ticket refunds. There is NO SMOKING allowed anywhere inside the building, and there are NO PETS ALLOWED at anytime. *Legitimate Service Dogs must be wearing full credentials at all times upon entry, and owner must have licensing papers available upon staff request for service dogs. This special family ensemble brings together three generations of Allen musicians, led by renowned New Orleans trumpeter Shamarr Allen.Shamarr Allen is a New Orleans-born trumpeter, vocalist, composer, producer, and bandleader known for blending jazz, funk, hip-hop, rock, blues, and country into a vibrant sound that reflects his hometowns musical diversity. He leads his own band, Shamarr Allen & The Underdawgs, and has performed and toured with artists such as Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle, Galactic, Harry Connick Jr., and Lenny Kravitz, among others, while also playing with local brass traditions like the Rebirth Brass Band early in his career. Allen has released several albums, including True Orleans 2, and his work spans performing, composing, recording, and music education in the New Orleans community. Joining him are his two sons: Jarrel Allen, a recent Loyola University graduate and current drummer for Delfeayo Marsalis, Donte Allen, a rising young trumpet voice and student at New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), Cam Watson on Piano, and Javier MeToyer on Bass.
