Small Blazers - Killing Time Single Launch
Gateshead-based twins Small Blazers are celebrating the release of their debut single, Killing Time, with a launch show at Cluny 2. Inspired equally by icons of indie guitar music like Fleet Foxes and Arctic Monkeys, and by the widescreen storytelling of Bruce Springsteen and Sam Fender, Arthur and Elliott Gledhill have been making music together since they inherited an aunt’s piano at the age of 7. Now, after ten years of playing and writing, they will finally release their first single.
Arthur and Elliott grew up surrounded by their parents’ passion for music. Their first visit to Glastonbury came when they were just two years old. Their most recent trip, in 2025, included performing on one of the festival’s open mic stages. The twins are also members of Young Musicians Project, the Sunderland-based music project which has previously supported local artists such as Faye Fantarrow and Isabel Maria. "
