Part of the early Washington, D.C. hardcore scene alongside bands like Minor Threat and Bad Brains, they became known for their high-energy sound and relentless touring. The band’s lineup included brothers Pete and Franz Stahl, bassist Skeeter Thompson, and drummer Kent Stax, with Dave Grohl joining as drummer in 1986.
