15 years ago, beers were cheap, pubs were packed, and a band from Melbourne called The Bennies released their first full-length album… Party! Party! Party!
In the years that followed, the band crisscrossed the country in vans, playing beer-soaked rooms across Australia and making mates everywhere they went with their genre-smashing sound and ability to unite a room full of strangers.
Then on March 25, 2016, The Bennies release Wisdom Machine, the album that would define a generation of Australian punk.
Wisdom Machine became the soundtrack to a chapter of life for thousands of people around the globe. It was road trips with Detroit Rock Ciggies on repeat, stealing the aux at 2am to put on Legalise (But Don't Tax), and jumping with your arm around a mate while screaming Party Machine.
Fifteen years of memories. One massive party.
