The Exhibition
Start your journey in the Power Station’s magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A with a visit to The Exhibition. Discover Sir Giles Gilbert Scott’s 1920s office, the Power Station’s original architect, historic photos, original blueprints, replica artefacts, the Building Battersea interactive illustrated wall, which brings the construction of Battersea Power Station to life and a hands-on working model of the Power Station, where you can bring coal from the River Thames to generate power. Touchpoints activate sound and movement, from the laying of six million bricks to the building’s rise as a working Power Station. Quiz lovers can also test their knowledge as they battle it out to get the highest score at a touchscreen quiz table. 
The Ascent
Your ascent begins in the Switch Room where a 360-degree film tells the story of Battersea Power Station through the decades, from its heyday as a working coal-fired power station to its closure in 1983, the various different proposals put forward to regenerate the site and its rebirth as a vibrant new riverside neighbourhood for London.
The View
Continuing onwards and upwards, constellations of light guide your way as the lift makes its gentle but exhilarating ascent to a view point of 109 metres above ground.Soak in the sights, the world-famous landmarks that make up London’s stunning skyline and enjoy a unique bird’s eye view of the Power Station itself.
