The Fleok is a NYC-based collective that records indie and alternative rock designed to emulate the energy of their live shows. Joining them is Kai Weinkauf, whose music combines the emotional lyricism of a singer-songwriter with the energy, fervor, and creativity of cutting-edge indie rock. Fresh off the release of their second EP, , "rdquo" -> Now", Kai and his four-piece band blend driving experimental rock riffs with infectious indie pop and heartfelt ballads. They are set to begin rolling out their first full-length LP later this year. AND The Guns represents a new wave of grunge with a psychedelic motif. Songwriting by New York natives Hunter Lyons, Martín Marraccino, Dan Vitenko, and Joshua Fisher pushes the boundaries of NYC's underground. Profound lyrics are accompanied by ethereal instrumentation (they play some covers too).
