Mike Dillon is an American composer, percussionist, and band leader born in Texas. Dillon regularly tours with Rickie Lee Jones, Les Claypools Bastard Jazz and Les Claypools Frog Brigade. He is a member of Nolatet, DVS, Punkadelick and leads the Mike Dillon Band. He has performed with Ani Difranco, Critters Buggin, Karl Denson, Galactic, Honey Island Swamp Band, Cha Wha, The Dead Kenny Gs, and the Dean Ween Band. He played percussion on The Revivalist multi Platinum record - Men amongst Mountains. Punkadelicks 2025 release of Run White Boy Run etches nine tracks into Waffle House yellow vinyl self-produced under Mike Dillons label, F.M.B.L. The 2021 established trio, Mike Dillon, Brian Haas and Nikki Glaspie, open the cumbia rich dance party to Steve Berlin of Los Lobos, David Shaw of The Revivalists, Larry LaLonde, Calvin Arsenia, TIFF Lamson, Rurik Nunan, Marco Pascolini, Shane Theriot, Nathan Lambertson, Robby Mangano and Theresa Scott. The album features rescue dog cumbias, gravely ballads and fresh collaborations between lifelong musicians. Nods to The Stooges and Tom Waits add tasty layers and narrate the nuances of tour life.
