the olllam

the olllam is a transatlantic collective blending Irish traditional music with Detroits psychedelic post-rock. Featuring John McSherry, Michael Shimmin, Joe Dart (Vulfpeck), Ross Ainslie, Sen OMeara, and Joe Hettinga, their music is both rooted and cinematic. After releasing their acclaimed 2022 album elllegy (RT Radio 1s Best Group), they toured sold-out venues across Ireland and the UK. In 2024, they co-wrote Sona with GRAMMY-nominated producer Zedd for his album Telos, leading to a surprise Coachella 2025 performance seen by millions. With powerful live shows and innovative collaborations, the olllam are boldly reshaping Celtic musics future.
