with the Queens College Orchestra, Vocal Ensemble and Treble Choir James John, Director Program: David Stern - Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass: Cantata for Soprano Solo, Chorus and Orchestra (World Premiere) Gabriel Fauré - Requiem In 1839 Walt Whitman taught in a one-room school house that was on the grounds of the present day Queens College campus. David Stern's new cantata celebrates the universality of Whitman's words with music that is ethereal, intimate and profoundly joyful. Fauré's Requiem is one of the most beloved works in the choral-orchestral repertory, beautiful in its grandeur and deeply comforting in its warmth. Together, these two works offer a heartfelt glimpse into the mysteries of the human soul.

Will Call is located in Colden Auditorium at Kupferberg Center for the Arts. Customers can pick up their tickets during normal box office hours. Our Box Office is also open an hour prior to show time.

Parking is available in Lot #15N & 15S, located right in front of Colden Auditorium. Lot #15 opens 1 hour prior to the show. Plan to arrive early as space is limited. Parking is also available on the Queens College campus and along Reeves Avenue.

ADA seating must be purchased through the Kupferberg Center for the Arts Box Office.
