The Wailers are one of the most important and enduring bands in global music history. As Bob Marley’s original band, they helped carry reggae from the streets of Kingston to the world stage, delive ring music rooted in resistance, spirituality, love and social change. Their songs continue to resonate across generations and remain as vital today as when they were first released.

In 2026, The Wailers return to Australia celebrating 50 Years of Positive Vibrations, marking the landmark 1976 album Rastaman Vibration. The album represented a defining moment for reggae, featuring powerful songs such as “Positive Vibration,” “Roots, Rock, Reggae,” and “War,” and cementing the band’s place as cultural leaders with a global voice.

Today, the legacy continues under the leadership of bandleader Aston Barrett Jr., son of Aston "Family Man" Barrett, the legendary bandleader of Bob Marley & The Wailers. Family Man was a founding member, songwriter and producer who ensured Marley’s music was played properly and with integrity for decades. Before his passing, he trained a new generation of musicians, including his son, to carry that responsibility forward.

Joined by vocalist Mitchell Brunings, whose commanding voice and stage presence have captivated audiences worldwide, The Wailers deliver performances that are genuine, heartfelt and powerful - keeping Bob Marley’s music and message alive, properly and authentically, for generations to come.
