Tom McDermott

Tom McDermott and Tim Laughlin first met as bandmates with the Dukes of Dixieland, performing at Carnegie Hall, touring Germany and Hawaii, and appearing in Peru, Ecuador, and dozens of cities across the United States. In the time since departing the Dukes, they have continued a close musical partnership, collaborating on international tours, festival appearances, and recording projects. Their long-standing friendship and shared musical history make for a dynamic and engaging performance.
Every Wednesday at 8 PM, the vibrant sounds of New Orleans come alive as the city's favorite musicians gather to bring music to the New Orleans Jazz & Blues Market's Summer Music Series in the Lounge. This weekly event is a celebration of the rich musical heritage that defines New Orleans, featuring a dynamic mix of jazz, blues, and other regional sounds.
