An explosive six-piece line-up with members hailing from Tiree, South Uist, Ardnamurchan and Glasgow, Trail West are a band deeply rooted in the music and culture of the Highlands and Islands — a group who continue to rise in popularity from their modest roots as a four-piece West Coast Ceilidh Band to a formidable Live Act worthy of any festival stage.

2024 has been the band's most successful year to date, with the release of their fifth album, "Thirsty Work", in August and their biggest headline show so far at the O2 Academy Glasgow in September.

This follows on from the success of the last few years with three consecutive sell-out shows at Glasgow's famous Barrowland Ballroom, two performances at Scotland's biggest entertainment venue - the OVO Hydro - and being crowned Live Act of the Year at the Scots Trad Music Awards in 2023!
