11AM / 21+ / Free Trashland Zinefest is the trashiest small-press festival in Chicago (we like to think).Come on down for a day of zines, comics, animation and more! Originally started in Brooklyn NY in 2018, Trashland is returning for a 3rd year now located in Chicago IL. Were here to celebrate work created by artists in the many, MANY forms zines can take; from autobio comics, poetry, local political comics, photography, fantasy, and so much more, were here to explore em together (especially the trashier ones). Were thrilled to share the joys of DIY self publishing and handmade work in an excellent venue, along with Busy Beaver Buttons & Merch at their own make-it-yourself button station, and a curated selection of trashy animation loops provided by Malt Adult running throughout the event.
